The Assassin’s Creed saga is a true journey through time, where each game is a window into a fascinating historical period. Since its inception in 2007, this Ubisoft series has been more than just a set of games; it is an odyssey that intertwines fiction, history and action in a masterful way. The central premise revolves around the eternal struggle between the Assassins, defenders of freedom, and the Templars, seekers of control.

The first game took us back to the time of the Crusades in the Holy Land, introducing Altair and a revolutionary gameplay mechanic that blended parkour, stealth and combat. Since then, the saga has explored different eras: Renaissance Italy with Ezio Auditore, a charismatic character who became an icon; the American Revolution; the pirate era in the Caribbean; the French Revolution; ancient Egypt; classical Greece; and the Viking era, among others.

What makes Assassin’s Creed special is how it combines real historical elements with an engaging fictional narrative. Each game is a meticulous tapestry of historical events, characters and locations, interwoven with a plot that goes beyond time, including sci-fi elements such as the Animus machine, which allows modern characters to experience the memories of their ancestors.
